Job Overview;
To manage the functions and performance of a team of trainers towards delivering learning solutions to all front-line departments including but not limited to sales and service teams across RAKBANK. The role also includes periodic reporting and performance management function for the assigned team and departments.

Job Duties:
1.Plan, develop and implement strategy for foundational and functional training and development for all employees in front-line sales and service teams in Business Banking
2.Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring the effectiveness and return on investment of staff training and development interventions
3.Manage & develop direct reporting staff by rotating responsibilities maintaining staff training & development theory / methods providing suitable interpretation to trainers.
4.Ensure Training activities meet and integrate with bank Service Quality and Sales Objectives by managing logistics/ administration/ reporting of KRI’s/ proper MIS & meeting with deadlines for reporting the same to higher authorities. Update and maintain reports of training session conducted and feedback received.
5.Monitor, measure and report on staff training and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timelines
6.Liaise with other functional/departmental managers so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of staff training and development, and to ensure they are fully informed of staff training and development objectives, purposes and achievements
7.Maintain awareness and knowledge of contemporary staff training and development theory and methods and provide suitable interpretation to managers and staff within the organisation
8.Manage learning interventions and projects within timelines and agreed service level agreements
9.Create and implement methods to improve the performance and delivery of training interventions


Education level required: Degree educated with Banking specialisation

Professional/Technical qualifications/Diplomas: Certificate in Training Practice (Preferred)

Experience: 5 to 8 years proven training experience of creating and administering targeted learning interventions of which 3 years must preferably be in managing a team / training function.

Specialist Skills required for the Job: Creative Content Design, Instructor Led Training, Classroom Management and People Management
