Job Description:
  • To plan, coordinate and ensure safe and efficient execution of the preventive maintenance programme and breakdown maintenance for all CNG facilities in the CNG filling stations as per standards and manufacturers’ recommendations.
  • Preparing Operation & Maintenance work packages in line with project procedures, specifications and applicable codes including HSE requirements. Conducting inspections on CNG re-fuelling equipment at CNG stations to check for quality of work performed and equipment site condition. Ensuring major overhaul of mechanical equipment is carried out including testing and calibration of equipment components, installation and commissioning as per the laid down procedures and standards.
  • Overseeing the functioning NGV Maintenance Engineers. Participating in the preparation and development of scope of work for tender packages and technical evaluation of contractors and submitted tenders. Monitoring costs of labour and spare parts and preparing an annual maintenance expenditure required for budgeting. Controlling and monitoring third party contractors in the execution of contracts and price agreements. Evaluating and applying new techniques to minimise Operations & Maintenance timing and public interruption.

Job Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Over 7 years experience in Mechanical Maintenance of Reciprocating Compressors and rotating package equipment.
  • At least 5 years experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • High level of fluency in English with strong oral and written communication skills. Fluency in Arabic will be an advantage.
  • High Problem solving and decision making ability.
  • Effective planning and organisation capabilities.
