About NPCC:
The National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC), a Public Joint Stock company, was established in April 1973. The fabrication facilities then were located on Sadiyat Island, 3 km east of Abu Dhabi city. The present facilities are now located at Mussafah, 35 km from Abu Dhabi city.

Growth of NPCC
In 1973, NPCC was initially established to provide a facility for the fabrication of steel structures required by the onshore and offshore Oil and Gas production industry. In 1978 NPCC expanded its operation by setting up a custom built pipe coating facility at the yard.

In 1979, NPCC ventured into offshore activities for the Oil & Gas industry, providing marine spreads for Pipelay, Installation and Hook-up works. Today, NPCC owns a dedicated marine fleet consisting 13 construction barges, capable of transportation of up to 12,000 tons, lifting single structures weighing up to 2,600 tons, laying submarine pipelines up to 60" in diameter and hook-up and maintenance works. In 1986, with the intention of serving onshore projects, NPCC ventured into manufacturing Storage Tanks & Spheres for storing various types of petroleum products such as; liquid sulphur, water, diesel oil, crude oil, liquefied natural gas (LNG), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), etc

The dynamic growth of NPCC since its inception and its achievements over the years, have placed this National Company in a league with major international EPC contractors involved in the development of the Oil and Gas Industry.

In 1992, NPCC expanded its engineering capability for designing onshore & offshore facilities, loading terminals, storage tanks, pressure vessels and pipelines. Presently, NPCC has over 300 dedicated engineering staff to support the ongoing operations. The design team is fully equipped with latest state-of-the-art computers/softwares to meet engineering challenges.

Job Requirements:
• Should have a Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering (or the equivalent gained through experience)
• At least ten (20) years experience in Oil & Gas Industry or similar associated works in Offshore & Onshore locations.
• Should be capable of supervising and controlling the construction crew(s) assigned to the Project including Foreman , Chargehands , Technicians, etc for the timely completion of project.
• Should be capable of handling 80 to 100 productive personnel and 8 to 10 Foremen and Chargehands.
• Should have knowledge of Electrical & Pneumatic Instruments, Control Valves, and also the capability to carry out Erection, Installation, Calibration & Testing of the various Electrical and/or Instrumentation systems.
• Should have the capability to read and understand the Electrical Schematic wiring and instrument loop drawings and Instrument tubing works and be independently capable of performing wiring/ loop checks, pressure test of instrument tubing and control circuit performance test under simulated and/or operational conditions.
• Should be familiar with all the associated E&I Test Equipment like Multimeter, Megger, Dead Weight Tester, Pneumatic Calibrator, Multifunction Calibrator, Earth Tester, etc.
• Should have knowledge of various International standards and codes of practice like NEC, NEMA, API, IEC, IEEE, IPCEA, ANSI, AGA, ASA, VDE, BSS, etc.
