Job Duties:
  •     Lead the company’s commercial activities, Sales and Marketing, to drive business growth and market share and ensure integrated commercial success of the company.
  •     Oversee the development, planning, implementation and evaluation of the company’s commercial function to enable the company to achieve its long-term objectives.
  •     Manage the determination of an innovative product development and portfolio management formula.
  •     Set up and propose to CEO sales strategy, goals, sales targets, market share, marketing plans and budget, sales opportunities and other key performance indicators.
  •     Work closely with the Chief Financial Officer, Commercial Heads of Departments and any advertising agencies, branding consultants, and creative teams that have been asked for work on a specific campaign.
  •     Maintain a highly visible presence and relationship with airline senior management and understand value of their existing products and functionality.
  •     Develop strategic business and sales plans for all products and carry out periodic reviews on sales targets, budgets and market share, and pricing methodology.
  •     Monitor and report on industry developments and competitor activity globally to identify further commercial opportunities.
  •     Bringing a strong analytical acumen coupled with market place knowledge, revenue management and a high level of sales.
  •     Gains deep insight into the market through establishing long-term relationships with external partners and stakeholders, and delivers intelligence into internal competitive tools
  •     Participates in industry events and speaking engagements to share deep industry knowledge, forming long-term, influential relationships in the process.
  •     Leads the organization by communicating strategy and market insights, fostering an agile work environment, identifying and coaching talent, and building external and internal pipeline.
  •     Relationship Management: Establishes and builds healthy working relationships with partners.
  •     Solution Alignment: Evaluates rates and availability with an understanding of products, services, and the market for the purpose of obtaining favorable arrangements for the company.
  •     Sales & Negotiation: Effectively works in a defined market or region, identifying prospective partners, and negotiating successfully in a constructive, consultative, and collaborative manner.
  •     Other reasonable duties, as assigned

Job Requirements:
  •     Leadership, Operational, Presentation skills at all levels, Communications and Interpersonal skills are required
  •      Strong background managing geographically diverse sales organizations, with a strong emphasis on consultative sales principles.
  •     Excellent understanding of the travel and distribution industry.
  •     Resourceful and holds business relationship with Airlines’ leading executives in management and IT solutions.
  •     Have hands-on knowledge of all aspects of airline business and travel industry including but not limited to GDS technologies, interlining, code sharing, alliances etc.
  •     Good knowledge of airline enterprise and productivity solutions such as revenue management, routes economics & profitability and yield management systems.
  •     Written & Spoken Communications, Listening, and Influencing: Conveys, receives, and interprets ideas and information, presents information appropriately to a diverse range of audiences, and influences partner decisions.
  •     Good Business insight.

Education and Experience:
  •     University Degree in Business Administration, MBA is preferred.
  •     12 years executive management experience in large organization with emphasis on sales and marketing.
  •     Knowledge of aviation and travel agency business is preferred.
