Job Overview:
This role is responsible for the control of base maintenance checks & work packages and ensure proper adherence to the Manual procedures of Air Arabia Engineering Department.

Qualifications and Experience:

  •     Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
  •     Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
  •     Good MS Office applications skills
  •     Ability to work under pressure and in different shift pattern
  •     Minimum 2 years of related experience

Job Duties:
  •     Responsible for checking the completeness and distribution of work package on display board received from Production Planning.
  •     Distribute the maintenance cards in the Control Docks and ensure that the cards are displayed in sequence. Process additional maintenance cards resulting from the inspection and ensure that that the same are properly actioned in a priority order (Pre-docking, ship-shop-ship/ inspection/ routine/clean/lube/servicing/final inspection).
  •     Raise non routine cards for all incoming defects from the Tech/Cabin Log.
  •     Responsible for the control of all maintenance documentation and work package register, review all completed documents for any discrepancies and proper certification before acceptance.
  •     Continuously monitor work progress and advise any deviation from planned flow chart.
  •     Prepare materials/tools shortage list and follow up its status with Logistics.
  •     Responsible for entry of deferred defects in RAL and compile/submit debrief on aircraft departure.
  •     Responsible for the preparation of component change records sheet for each hangar input.
  •     Responsible for monitoring of man-hours booking by production staff and reporting actual man-hours logged versus planned for each aircraft input
  •     Forward completed work package to Production Planning after aircraft departure.
  •     Ensure proper awareness of relevant TPM, MOE Manual procedures for Production Control.
