Job Overview
The Senior Manager, Business Development & Marketing, is responsible to develop and implement the business development plan as well as the strategic marketing and promotion plan and for the KPIZ. Key responsibilities include:
·        Contribution to KIZ strategy setting
·        Overseeing all business development activities (lead generation, account management, concluding lease agreements, etc.)
·        Overseeing all marketing activities (Branding, promotion, advertising, direct marketing etc.)

Business Development Tasks:
·        Develop and implement the KIZ business development plan
·        Develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new business opportunities.
·        Oversee the successful management of the entire sales process: lead generation; credentials pitch; evaluation; account management, follow up, solution pitch; develop proposals, negotiation; close TRA and Musataha Agreement; handover to the customer service management team.
·        Effectively interact with other departments and stakeholders including Urban Planning, Projects, Finance, Customer Service and Public Affairs
·        Market research / business intelligence activities
·        Ensuring ADPC remains proactive and responsive to prospective clients
·        Manage the process to review and assess Expressions of Interest
·        Negotiate & Conclude TRA & Musataha Agreements
·        Sales forecast and revenue projections.
·        Identify customer requirements and communicate to the concerned stakeholders
·        Draft project proposals that have unique, innovative, and executable solutions to customers’ needs
·        Aid the client in dealing with governmental authorities and Service Providers, internal and external.
·        Mitigate and troubleshoot situations that have potential impact on customer relationships and business generation.
·        Become the single point of contact with the customer.

Marketing & Promotion Tasks:
·        Formulate KIZ value proposition for various target segments
·        Develop and Implement an Integrated Marketing Communication and Investment Promotion Plan.
·        Oversee production of collaterals and promotional materials
·        Brand Management
·        Public Relations Campaigns
·        Launch programs that will enhance awareness and interest of domestic and international investors in KPIZ
·        Competitive analysis and benchmarking
·        Cluster Specific Marketing launch programs
·        Identify, organize and participation in promotional activities such as exhibitions, conferences and seminars for the stimulation of investments.

General Tasks:
·        Participate in the development of the KIZ strategic business plan
·        Effectively report the progress to management and key stakeholders.
·        Successfully manage the department and its staff
·        Develop the department’s budget
·        Provide feedback on and ensure the efficient use of the Sales and CRM ERP System
·        Other activities as instructed by the Division’s VP.

Job Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Management with a minimum of 10 years experience in a senior marketing and sales position in a related industry.
  • A degree in Engineering is an advantage. Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge and skills with a minimum 15 years experience.
·        Extensive marketing and investment promotion experience (branding, advertising, public relations, direct marketing, trade shows & exhibitions, etc.)
·        Strong background and experience in sales and business development (lead generation, account management, negotiation, closing deals, etc.)
·        Experience in managing teams of professional staff from diverse backgrounds
·        Intimate knowledge of key industry drivers to translate these into value propositions for KPIZ
·        Exceptional English and Arabic communications skills
·        Strong business acumen and strategic planning
·        Excellent IT skills
·        Quantitative problem solver: able to measure performance indicators and make decisions based on hard, quantitative data
·        A deal closer with effective negotiation skills
·        Someone that can spot opportunities immediately and act on them
