Job Overview:

  • To provide a front line interface between HR and the department (including international where appropriate). developing an aligned HR Business Partnership that drives the delivery of business objectives across a division. 
  • To direct and support delivery of a strategic, professional and world class HR consultancy service that drives ‘best practice’ in all aspects of people management and development.

Job Requirements:
  •     A degree from a recognised university or equivalent professional qualification; a diploma in Personnel Management /CIPD, aviation or a related qualification in HR will be desirable.

  •     Between 5-7 years progressively responsible line facing HR generalist experience with a strong background in performance management, change management and team leadership at management level.

Training & Knowledge:
  •     In-depth and extensive knowledge of HR policy, processes and systems
  •     Change management of new/improved HR processes and systems
  •     Expert in local and international employment legislations

Job Duties:
  •     Develop and deliver HR/People Strategy for the department, in order to fully align with the business plan and achieve business objectives.
  •     Drive and implement the people strategy to deliver world class HR services.
  •     Exert a dynamic influence over key line stakeholders as an expert in HR and take the HR lead in driving teams to promote best HR practice and sound innovation in meeting challenges and objectives.
  •     To ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures and practices, in order to minimize risk and financial exposure. Provide advice and guidance to line managers and HR generalists if required.
  •     Work in partnership with the HR centers of excellence to ensure coordination in project/policy development and the enhancement of information provision and centralized services to the business.
  •     Promote organizational development that addresses succession planning, workforce engagement & development, change management and continuous improvement towards a high performance culture.
  •     Lead and engage in HR working groups involved in the development and promotion of HR policy and procedures, operational efficiency, cost saving studies and service improvement initiatives.
