Job Description
The College of Engineering at Abu Dhabi University is seeking Ph.D. qualified candidates for a position in Chemical Engineering with an appointment possible in any academic rank, depending on background and experience. The successful candidate will start in the fall 2014 semester.

Abu Dhabi University has a strong commitment to engineering education and offers a variety of engineering undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The undergraduate program in chemical engineering program is the newest in the College Engineering with first cohort admitted in the fall 2013. As result, this position represents a unique opportunity for faculty to shape the new program and its direction.

Job Requirements:

  • The successful candidate must be able to teach core undergraduate courses and develop new courses when necessary. 
  • The candidate will also be expected to develop an independent research program, lead academic advising of chemical engineering, and contribute to professional and university service. 
  • The successful candidate will write specifications and establish laboratories for the chemical engineering program.
    Minimum qualifications include a doctoral degree chemical engineering. 
  • Preference will be given to candidates with all degrees in chemical engineering.
  • Experience with international accreditation and outcomes-based learning are valuable assets.
