Job Overview

  • Responsible for the movement & provisions of catering supplies, from all department to loading bays and segregated into hi-loaders based on relevant flight numbers and destinations as per Standard operating procedures ensuring all related logistics are dealt with in a timely and effective manner.
  • Excellent communication with all external /internal representatives ensuring every customer is highly satisfied where customer service is key to the business success.

Job Duties:
  •     Ensure transportation of food, bars, dry stores and equipment from respective departments to loading bays and segregated into flight order per destination on time every time.
  •     Ensure Loaders report on duty with airside safety requirements of PPE, grooming, safety.
  •     Maintain accurate and on time delivery of all catering related services to customers as per specification and standards
  •     Systematic loading of catering supplies into hi-loaders as per GLP within the operating timelines and secured accordingly.
  •     Ensure information data board is updated correctly providing full details of flight information numbers / registration/ allocated loading bays & personnel etc.
  •     Monitor on time dispatch and ensure all standards and targets are achieved.
  •     Assign loads to respective flights, monitor on time dispatch & train and guide new team members.
  •     Food hygiene guidelines are adhered to at all times and chiller to dispatch being constantly monitored to ensure all regulations are achieved.

Job Requirements   
Qualification & Education:

  •     Minimum three years experience in a similar role within airline catering.
  •     Fluency in spoken and Written English and spoken Hindi.

  •     Fluency in spoken and Written English, basic knowledge of food & hygiene.

Training & Knowledge:
  •     A leading mentality to ensure customer service levels are met and exceeded.
  •     Energetic, Engaged and Enthusiastic.
  •     Excellent knowledge of galley loading plans of different type a/c and airlines.
  •     A good understanding of Airport rules & regulations.
  •     Knowledge of Airport Security regulations/requirement.
