Job Requirements:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business/Marketing 
  • Professional insurance accreditations would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic & English are a must
  • Soft skills in sales
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and report-writing skills
  • Minimum 15 years, including at least 7 years in a leadership role in the general insurance business. 
  • Business development management experience & underwriting experience

Job Duties:
Achieve individual sales targets assigned by the CBDO
  • Manage and assess the BDEs
  • Be responsible for the planning, implementation and execution of marketing & business development strategies for ADNIC insurance products and services
  • Work closely with different departments in the head office and branches in the development and execution of appropriate marketing tactics and plans to achieve the marketing / sales objectives
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with the broker community in Abu Dhabi and other emirates to understand their requirements and to generate business from them
  • Be an effective Relationship Manager and expand the current client base (Account Acquisition and Retention Strategy)
  • Follow -up with different departments on outstanding matters especially for large clients
  • Develop initiatives to increase the lifetime value that ADNIC gets from its customers via cross-selling, retention, referrals and other techniques
  • Create sales targets for the department and each individual associate (sales agent) and work towards meeting the target
  • Liaise with relevant government departments for business opportunities in this important sector
  • Seek and contact new companies with new projects
  • Follow-up on new and upcoming projects within different segments of the market through different media sources including I.T. facilities
  • Pro-actively provide market feedback on changing requirements of clients and brokers with regards to products, price and positioning
  • Lead product development, marketing and other relevant projects that will result in the acquisition of more business by the company
  • Join sales calls with business associates to further strengthen relationship with client & brokers
  • Implement and develop sustainable strategic relationships with key accounts
  • Design and implement a broker management strategy across all branches
  • Design and execute marketing campaigns for commercial lines and personal lines 
  • Participate in relevant events to get industry insight and generate leads 
  • Execute any other tasks and projects assigned by the CBDO from time to time
