Job Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of audio visual equipment and its uses
  • Audio visual level I minimum

Job Duties:
·          Ensure accurate on time set-up and recovery of audio visual equipment. Set up be complete 30 minutes before scheduled function time.
·          Monitor equipment operation at each assign event, observing and controlling room light levels, sounds, and temperature.
·          Instruct guest or client about proper equipment use and operation.
·          Secure the equipment from theft following all security procedures.
·          Operate the house sound system (s), as needed.
·          Inspect and clean, if necessary, equipment prior to installation at the meeting location.
·          Recover all equipment from the meeting locations and return it to the proper storage area to prevent theft.
·          Participate in the larger audio visual events as an operating technician.
·          Observed and correct any housekeeping deficiencies.
·          Plan ahead for each set-up and take all needed items to the meeting location.
·          Participate in regularly scheduled equipment inventory as required.
·          Check electrical hook ups per proper working order the tape down all exposed cords for equipment use.
·          Each associate is expected to carry out within their capabilities, all reasonable request by management.
·          Daily flow chart sheet up date.
·          Check all charges on the bill .
