Job Overview
We are looking for Relationship Officer, Collections for our RAKFinance team.

You will be required to visit GBC accounts from the RFL portfolio on daily basis, identify risk, opportunities, and market trends while adhering to the Bank’s policies.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum High school for Nationals (preferably higher diploma) and University graduate for expatriates.

  • 1-2 years’ experience in banking or related field

Job Duties:
• Conduct field visits on all GBC accounts and overdue customers (as and when required) on a daily basis across the RFL portfolio.
• Gain a thorough understanding of account conduct/profile of each customer as per the respective BVR prior to each and every visit so relevant queries can be posed to the customer.
• Record all information collected in the prescribed format (excel/word) and mail the same to the RM on a timely basis for each customer visited.
• Ensure an accurate assessment of the customers financial position is done with respect to his ability to repay the balance RFL loan and to look for opportunities if any in advising the account for strengthening the relationship with the bank across products.
• Identify any risk or danger that a customer’s situation (financial or otherwise) that may affect his ability to repay the RFL and to escalate the same.
• Collect, assess and escalate any adverse market feedback/information that can pose a risk to the RFL portfolio in general.
• Maintain a close working relationship with the Collections team with respect to problematic accounts.
• Be proactive in a wide range of customer enquiries and issues, resolving them or escalating them as appropriate.
• Identify and act on ways to improve own knowledge and skills and as a consequence improve the knowledge and skills level of the department.
• Provide support to other team members as required to assist in the smooth operation of the department.
• Perform any other duties or tasks as required or instructed by the line manager to support the smooth operation of the department.
