Job Description:

  • To uphold the landscape in accordance to Emaar Properties PJSC standards set out by the Landscape Manager

Qualifications:
  • Agriculture Engineering degree is a must

Experience:
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in a similar role/ Experience in both Irrigation and Landscaping

Skills:
  •     Excellent communication skills (especially English)
  •     Extremely good understanding in pumping stations, its design concepts, fault finding, analysing, etc
  •     Extremely good knowledge of Sewerage Treatment Plants and pumping stations for treated sewage effluent water systems
  •     Strong site experience in managing irrigation issues (not necessarily just landscaping), fault finding, design change and modification capabilities
  •     Strong report writing skills
  •     Strong ability to deal with service providers, tackle tuff situations and deal with service provider non-performance issues objectively
  •     An individual who is not focused on ‘putting out spot fires’ but will take a ‘balcony approach’ strategical thinker.

Key Accountabilities:
  •     Daily Monitoring of Service Providers in accordance with SLA
  •     Provide support and trouble shooting for landscape/ irrigation issues
  •     Provide technical input
  •     Asssit in Tendering of landscape and irrigation maintance packages
  •     Audit all landscape and Irrigation Assets
  •     Attend to inspection requests from Site clearance, Excavation and Disposal, Irrigation Mains and Subs laying,Installation of solenid valves and controllersto set out of plams, trees, shrubs, ground covers, sasonals and lawns
  •     Check and approve shop drawings
  •     Evaluate, check and approve inspection requests
  •     Work on issuing take over certificates
  •     Work with and assist service providers, consultant and contracts on resolving snags, resolving issues
  •     Report to Landscape and Irrigation Manager
