About Us
The National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC), a Public Joint Stock company, was established in April 1973. The fabrication facilities then were located on Sadiyat Island, 3 km east of Abu Dhabi city. The present facilities are now located at Mussafah, 35 km from Abu Dhabi city.

NPCC was initially established to provide a facility for the fabrication of steel structures required by the onshore and offshore Oil and Gas production industry. In 1978 NPCC expanded its operation by setting up a custom built pipe coating facility at the yard.

Our company is currently seeking applications well qualified individuals for the position of Senior Engineer - Pipelines in Abu Dhabi.

Job Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years experience in Offshore Pipeline design and construction engineering.
• Supervisory potential.
• Capability of utilizing Pipeline Engineering software.
• Understanding of Engineering Disciplines.
• Familiar with Pipeline International codes & standards.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Good technical knowledge and skills.
• Good Communication skills.
• Good Technical knowledge.
• Good planning & decision making skills.

Job Description:
Purpose & Scope:
Jobs at this level are responsible for the review of enquiry documentation and the Scope of Work and for carrying out allocated duties related to the preparation, checking and issue of Engineering deliverables. This can include site visits and close liaison with the Design Office Coordinator.

Job Responsibilities
• Performs Pipeline design calculations and analyses.
• Prepares Pipeline design reports.
• Attends technical & progress meetings.
• Raises the technical queries.
• Attends design review meetings.
• Prepare Tender inputs.
• Receives allocated duties & studies client documentation &Scope of Work.
• Creates drawings & documents register.
• Prepares specifications & datasheets
• Co-ordinates with the DOC.
• Prepares the PR.
• Undertakes technical evaluations.
• Site surveys.
• Reports on work progress.
• Man-hour estimates for bids.
• Prepares materials take offs.
• Input for planning package.
• Reviews “as built” drawings.
• Trains Entry Level Engineers.
• Compliance in accordance with HSE Standard.
