Job description:
We are looking for a Sales Manager responsible to grow our bolting business in Fabrication and Maintenance segment with new bolting products, Rapid Torc. Developing bolting business in responsible area, promote company product & solution and achieve sales revenue for responsible territory.

The successful candidate will be responsible for further development of the sales and marketing of bolting products as well Territory Management. Distribution is a key part in the growth strategy; you will contribute to the distribution development and have responsibility for certain chains and products. Your mission will be to develop the bolting business by promoting relevant products. You will also drive the Middle-East development of new specialized channels for bolting especially in Oil & Gas customers. Territory includes: UAE, Oman, Qatar, Yemen, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq & Egypt.

A key success factor for this position will be to understand the needs and work centrally with our distributors to initiate central as well as local marketing activities with them. Besides distributors, end customers, our sales team, contact points of yours will include as well the product company. You will therefore gain a large network internally and externally.

The position will report to the ACTA Regional Sales Manager.

Job Requirements:
• Looking for candidate with three to five years experience from working with distribution and technical product sales and have product management skills. Experience from bolting market, in particular Middle-East Oil & Gas market, would be an advantage.
• You have a university degree and are fluent in English.
• Arabic is a plus.
• To be ready for this challenge you need to have great social skills, with an understanding of building network and relationships with several different functions at customers and distributors with pro active and dynamic performer.
• You easily understand and identify customers’ current and future needs to ensure that our business meet those demands. You also have integrity and the ability to face issues and problems immediately. Furthermore, you combine these traits with a high level of creativity, being a great problem-solver who finds innovative solutions that improves our business. Lastly, you are confident to take actions and test new ideas in order to continue leading our business forward and you must be prepared to travel frequently in the region to fulfill your mission.

• Continuously screen market for bolting customer channel and bolting application development
• Achieve sales target by focus on assigned distributors and key customers in segment and implement sales activities
• Maintain structured knowledge of customers, distributors and competitors activities
• Maintain structured knowledge of direct and alternative products and solutions used in development of customer processes
• Ensure that local activities are in line with global divisional guidelines
• Develop good hands on experience of operating tools used in bolting process, develop best practice product demonstration standards in customer process
• Ensure there is solid understanding of how parameters shown in the demonstration support customers value
• Ensure all sales personnel through the channels have understanding knowledge and equipment to ensure demos are performed in line with best practice defined
• Build relevant value proposition for the customers based on available product and service portfolio as well as local adjacent solutions
• Build relevant value proposition for distributors
• Screen appoint and manage distributors to ensure the best coverage and complete offering for customers and relevant level of sales and marketing activities
• Coach, lead, mentor and support distributors sales people to perform sales promotion activities in line with segment strategy
• In cooperation with the distributor work out a plan to develop customer needs in bolting
• Ensure there is relevant coverage of own sales personnel to meet medium to long term targets
• Participate in hiring and train segment sales engineers
• Coach, lead, mentor and support sales people to perform sales promotion activities in line with segment strategy
• Ensure relevant follow-up of leads and prospects
• Manage relevant number of activities needed to ensure good sales force utilization
• Support Customer Centre management in sales pipeline analysis and help to prepare action plans to close the gaps
• Coordinate follow-up of plans within the organization
• Control and continuously improve the system of work and processes in segment area
• Coordinate and monitor training and development activities & programs in the bolting team
• Follow development of systems and methodology both in local and environment identifying new trends and best practice to be implemented
• Keep overall bolting business performance responsibility
• Follow and execute IMS policy, objectives, processes and programs, particularly processes linked to job performed, actively monitor changes in these standards in order to maintain up-to-date knowledge of the processes
• Act fully in line with Business Code of Practice, The Way We do Things standards, OH&S rules and other internal standards as well as legal regulations relevant for the job performed
• Take full responsibility and ownership of own professional development and actively participate on development activities in line with set development plan
• Execute other job related activities assigned by Customer Centre management team
• Provide a standard monthly report for the bolting business to the ACTA Regional Sales Manager.
