Job Description:
• Providing the Station Manager and Team Leaders with information and solutions. • Responsible for LAN issues including software and hardware. • Reports direct to Station Manager and the Regional IT Manager

Qualifications Needed:
• Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science/Engineering (preferable)

Experience Needed:
Previous and proven experience in:
• Designing, configuring, implementing and maintaining VMware Server environment
• Designing, configuring, implementing and maintaining Asterisk and FreePBX
• Setting up, managing and maintaining virtual contact centres
• Managing Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches and Cisco ASA (MPLS, IPSec, Cos, DSL, 3G)
• Managing Service Desk o Managing data centres of 100+ servers
• Managing Storage Area Units (SAN) like Dell MD3200i, MD3600i and Dell Compellent storage series.
• TCP/IP, networking and IP routing.
• Windows Server 2003 and Active Directory environment.
• Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server (ISA).
• Data Backup applications o Supporting Desktop applications.
• Cisco routers and switches o HP Networking devices.
• VoIP and IP Telephony.

Job Responsibilities:
• Providing and managing local IT Help Desk, liaise with users internal and external to clarify IT requirements and development needs.
• Managing and maintaining local area network (LAN).
• Managing and maintaining wireless networks.
• Managing data backups.
• Managing network and data security.
• Users’ accounts management.
• Monitoring servers.
• Handling all necessary workstation installations and all updates.
• Managing and maintaining local applications and software.
• Managing and maintaining local databases.
• Managing and maintaining local communication links.
• Managing and monitoring workstations antivirus.
• Preparing budgets and purchasing plans.
• Improving daily work in operations department and developing needed systems and software.
• Plans and monitors work and maintenance schedules to ensure agreed service levels are achieved
• Installing Security Devices and managing security issues.
• Making sure employees are abiding by IT and security procedures.
• Manages the development of user support, network operations and quality control
• Supervises the IT team and coordinates training
• Provide Local IT Solutions.
• Support local IT projects with suppliers.
• Providing end user training.
• Reporting on IT activities on a weekly basis to Senior Management as well as local direct report.
