Job Description:
Sourcing for Health & Safety Officer to generate and promote a positive health and safety culture across The Hospital.
He will play a key role in helping to control occupational risk.
Will be responsible for ensuring that all safety legislation are adhered to and policies and practices are adopted.
Will plan, implement, monitor and review the protective and preventative measures that companies are required or choose to follow, and work to minimize operational losses, occupational health problems, accidents and injuries.

Job Requirements:
• Degree in Health & Safety.
• Minimum 5-7 years post qualification experience with large organizations.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic & English.
• UAE/GCC experience is essential.
• A valid UAE driving license is essential.
• Bilingual (Arabic & English)

Job Responsibilities:
• Making additions/alterations to working practices that are safe and comply with legislation.
• Preparing Health and Safety strategies and developing intemal policy.
• Carrying out risk assessments and considering how risks could be reduced.
• Outlining safe operational procedures which identify and take account of all relevant hazards.
• Carrying out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented.
• Leading in-house training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks.
• Keeping records of inspections findings and producing reports that suggest improvements.
• Keeping records of incidents and accidents and producing statistics for managers.
• Producing management reports.
• Ensuring the safe installation of equipment.
• Managing and organizing the safe disposal of hazardous substances.
• Advising on a range of specialist areas i.e. fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases.
• Managing the security services of the organization.
• Training and providing lectures to staff on health and safety aspects.
